If you're planning a soak in a hot tub to help relief some of your stress level, you should know that a hot bath can actually over-stimulate your senses and add to your agitation.
According to the book "Hydrotherapy: Simple Treatments for Common Ailments," a neutral bath has a much more favorable balancing effect on anxious or irritable people. Water temperatures should range between 94 and 97 degrees and for maximum benefits, your soak time should be at least 20 minutes. Add warm water to maintain temperature.
