The homeopathic remedy Calendula, available in cream and ointment is very helpful in treating athlete foot discomfort. Apply in the morning and again in the evening to clean, dry skin. You can also make your own tincture by steeping two tablespoons of dried calendula flowers in one cup of boiling water for about 20 minutes. Strain and keep in refrigerator.
