If your child has suffered a bone injury, the body's demand for calcium & magnesium will be increased. For kids over the age of 2 years, start with a daily supplement of 800 mg of calcium & 400 mg of magnesium. Do this for 2 weeks, then decrease the dose to 500 mg of calcium & 250 mg of magnesium for another month.
