Can Vinegar Ease Hemorrhoid Discomfort?

Apple cider vinegar possesses astringent properties, making it highly effective in helping to shrink swollen blood vessels responsible for causing much of the pain associated with hemorrhoids. Gently dab the affected area as often as needed with a cotton ball soaked in vinegar. If you have a sensitivity to vinegar use caution and do NOT use the solution full strength. Instead, dilute the vinegar with equal amounts of water.
