A grated apple, allowed to turn brown, and then eaten also can offer some relief. Drinking 3 cups of rice water is also effective. Boil 3 cups of water with 1/2 cup of brown rice. Strain the rice out to eat and save the water to drink. The rice aids in stool formation and also helps replenish B vitamins.
