Coenzyme Q 10 (Co Q 10) is found in almost every living cell, particularly in the cells' mitochondria, which is responsible for energy. A study done in 1993, using 32 patients with advanced breast cancer, treated them with 90 mg of CoQ 10 per day. Six of the 32 showed partial tumor regressions. Two of the six increased their doses and their tumors disappeared completely. Co Q 10 has also been found to help prevent heart damage caused by certain types of chemotherapy. Recommended dosages per the *Natural Health Bible* is 30 to 300 mg daily, divided into 2 or 3 doses. Check with your doctor before taking if you are a cancer patient.
