Its acidic smell may cause you to cringe, but vinegar is a longtime favorite of healers used over the years to treat everything from hemorrhoids to athleteīs foot. It has been touted as being bacterial-inhibiting, antiseptic & astringent. Adding about 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to about 4 cups of fruit juice is one way to take advantage of its health-inducing properties. People with stomach ulcers should AVOID it, however, as the vinegarīs acid can aggravate ulcers.
