Lots of folks prefer getting their daily doses of vitamin C in the form of tasty, chewable tablets - BUT researchers at John Hopkins Hospital suggest you stick to tablets you swallow whole. Why, you ask? Chewable vitamin C supplements in larger doses (500 mg or more) may cause your teeth to discolor due to the large amounts of acid released when chewed.
