Don't break out the Jack Daniels to ease your back pain, but head instead to the closest water fountain. If you are suffering from backache pain, it is VERY important to drink LOTS of water. This helps prevent dehydration that can contribute to muscle aches. By drinking eight 8-ounces of water daily, you'll also flush out acidic wastes that can build up in the tissues & muscles - another contributor to back pain. Make sure to down at least 2 glasses when you feel the ache building up in your back.
