emu oil, an absolutely wonderful anti-inflammatory. Hot castor oil packs (made by dipping cloth (cotton, flannel or cheesecloth) into very warm oil, wrung out and then placed on the body covered by a piece of plastic & a heating pad, may also bring some relief.
