Bioflavonoids can be very helpful in relieving allergy symptoms and a good way to get them into your system is through certain citrus fruits. Mince the peels and white inner rinds of grapefruits and lemons (get organic if possible - if not, soak in water and a few drops of dish soap and scrub with a small brush). Add minced rinds and peels to 1 cup of water and simmer in a covered pot for about 10 minutes. Sweeten with honey if desired and take 1 teaspoon of the mixture three times a day.
