I`ve just tried green tea for the first time, and find it a bit funny tasting. Would adding a spoon of sugar result in a loss of its benefits?

Green Tea

No, the sugar shouldn't have any effect on the benefits of the tea. Green tea is a little funny-tasting, but it's loaded with antioxidants, which are greatly used for anti-aging purposes and even with mental health and memory loss. Making "green iced tea" is another way to add extra antioxidants into your diet. I use green tea bags under my eyes for puffiness. Works like a charm! Also, if you want to keep it low-cal, you could try "Equal" instead of sugar.
