Sperm cannot be healthy if your diet is deficient in zinc, selenium, folate, vitamins C and E, arginine, and essential fatty acids. Nutritional supplements can help as well as eating a balanced, whole-grain diet of organic produce, free of pesticides. Maintaining a healthy weight, plus avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and smoking are also helpful steps to producing a healthier sperm.
